Parent/Guardian Enrollment Agreement, Consent & Acknowledgment
2026–2027 Academic Year
The VRIC Quran School operates under Valley Ranch Islamic Center (VRIC) and encompasses its various Quranic and Islamic educational programs.
By registering my child in a VRIC Quran School program, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Parent/Guardian Acknowledgment
I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian of the student being registered and that all information provided during registration is complete and accurate to the best of my knowledge.
I understand that my child's enrollment and participation are subject to the policies, procedures, expectations, and guidelines established by Valley Ranch Islamic Center (VRIC), VRIC Quran School, and the specific program in which my child is enrolled.
I agree to cooperate with school administration and teachers in supporting my child's educational progress, safety, behavior, attendance, and overall participation in the program.
2. Attendance & Absences
Regular and punctual attendance is important to student progress and the overall classroom environment.
Parents/guardians are responsible for notifying the appropriate teacher or program administration when their child will be absent or late, preferably prior to the start of class.
Families are expected to follow any additional attendance requirements established for their child's specific program.
3. Student Conduct & Parent Partnership
Students are expected to demonstrate appropriate Islamic manners, respect their teachers and classmates, follow classroom expectations, and contribute to a safe and positive learning environment.
Parents/guardians agree to support the school's efforts to address academic, behavioral, attendance, or other concerns that may affect their child's participation or progress.
VRIC Quran School reserves the right to address repeated or serious behavioral concerns in accordance with applicable school policies.
4. Medical & Emergency Information
Parents/guardians are responsible for providing accurate and current information regarding their child's:
- Allergies
- Medical conditions
- Medications
- Emergency contacts
- Learning needs
- Special accommodations
- Other information that may reasonably affect the child's safety or participation
Parents/guardians are responsible for notifying the administration if any of this information changes during the school year.
5. Emergency Medical Authorization
In the event of illness, injury, or another emergency, I authorize VRIC and VRIC Quran School personnel to take reasonable steps to protect my child's health and safety.
Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the parent/guardian or designated emergency contact.
If I cannot be reached and immediate medical attention is reasonably necessary, I authorize VRIC representatives to seek appropriate emergency medical assistance for my child.
I understand that I am responsible for medical expenses incurred on behalf of my child.
6. Participation in Activities
I give permission for my child to participate in regular classes and approved activities associated with their VRIC Quran School program.
For activities requiring separate authorization, such as certain off-site field trips or special events, additional parent/guardian permission may be requested.
7. Tuition & Payment Authorization
I understand that tuition and applicable fees are determined by the specific VRIC Quran School program in which my child is enrolled.
By providing a payment method, I authorize VRIC to process applicable registration fees, tuition, and other approved program charges associated with my child's enrollment according to the payment schedule communicated for the program.
I understand that accounts may be required to remain enrolled in AutoPay.
Unless otherwise stated by the applicable program, tuition and registration fees are non-refundable and are not prorated for absences or missed classes.
8. Withdrawal Policy
If I wish to withdraw my child from a VRIC Quran School program, I understand that a written withdrawal notice must be provided at least two (2) weeks in advance.

9. Release & Acknowledgment of Risk
I understand that participation in educational programs, activities, events, and other school-related activities may involve ordinary risks.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, I agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Valley Ranch Islamic Center (VRIC), VRIC Quran School, its programs, officers, directors, employees, teachers, volunteers, agents, and authorized representatives from claims, demands, damages, or liabilities arising from my child's participation in VRIC-sponsored programs or activities, except for liability that cannot legally be waived.
10. Parent Communication
I understand that VRIC and VRIC Quran School may communicate with me regarding my child's enrollment, attendance, academic progress, assessments, tuition, school announcements, emergencies, schedules, closures, and other program-related matters.
Communications may be sent through email, telephone, text message, the school's learning management system, or other communication platforms used by VRIC.
I am responsible for keeping my contact information current.
